Following South Superstar and Jana Sena Party chief Pawan Kalyan ’s visit to Uddanam area in Srikakulam district of Andhra Pradesh state to bring the heart-throbbing kidney disease issue into limelight and setting a 48-hour deadline to the Andhra Pradesh government to come-up with a necessary rescue measure of nephropathy patients, the chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu responded with no time and guaranteed the needed rescue operations to the victims.
Chief Minister Naidu also quoted saying, “the kidney patients would be treated as physically challenged and provided all the advantages.”
And now the Central Government responded on the issue and the Prime Minister Narendra Modi has asked Union Health Minister Jagat Prakash Nadda to examine the issue properly. PM also asked Union Health Minister to take up remedial measures that are required right now.
” The Centre was very keen on rescuing the kidney patients by addressing the root cause of the problem,” Nadda said.
Nadda also confirmed that an expert team would soon visit Uddanam area to examine the issue and come out with necessary recommendations for further actions.
In a whole, Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan ‘s commitment towards the issue makes state and central government react, political observers say.
