Indian International Cricketer Ajinkya Rahane has become the first Indian cricketer to sign for English county side Hampshire.

The current Vice-Captain of the Indian cricket team in Test Cricket will play in 8 County Championship matches for Hampshire throughout May, June and July.

Reacting to the news, Ajinkya Rahane said, “I hope to score runs and win as a team and would like to thank BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket in India) for allowing me to play.”
