The election commission on March 10 announced the commencement of Assembly elections for Biju Janta Dal (BJD) between April 11 and April 29.

To count upon the votes of Odisha Audiences, Assembly Elections will also be held on May 23 with Lok Sabha elections.

As Odisha has 147 constituencies, it will be divided into four phases and will start from April 11 along with Lok Sabha Elections.

To count upon the votes of Odisha Audiences, assembly elections will also be held on May 23 with Lok Sabha elections.

June 11 is the end date to Odisha Assembly. In the Assembly Polls of 2014, Shri Naveen Patnaik’s BJD won the elections.

In the State Elections 2014, BJD built a government with 117 seats while Congress was in Opposition after winning 16 seats.
