China, a nation which has failed India’s attempts to put 26/11 Mumbai attack mastermind Masood Azhar on UN terrorist list multiple times, said yesterday, “responsible solution” can only come through discussions between the two nations.

These statements from China come two days ahead of the last date of objecting to the UN Security Council to declare Pakistan based Jaish-e-Mohammed chief Azhar as a global terrorist.

Earlier this month, amid rising India and Pakistan tensions, the UK, the US, and France moved a fresh proposal to designate Azhar as a global terrorist, a listing that subjects him to the Worldwide travel ban, asset freeze and arms embargo.

Earlier this month, amid rising India and Pakistan tensions, the UK, the US, and France moved a fresh proposal to designate Azhar as a global terrorist, a listing that subjects him to the worldwide travel ban, asset freeze and arms embargo. This proposal has been made in the UN four times in the last ten years.
