The University of Sydney alumni have made significant contributions to Australia and the world.
Sydney Law School has produced many luminaries in law and politics, including current Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull and five other Prime Ministers, three Chief Justices of the High Court, four Federal Opposition Leaders, two Governors-General, nine Federal Attorneys-General and 24 Justices of the High Court, more than any other law school in Australia.
The faculty has also produced 24 Rhodes Scholars and several Gates Scholars.
